Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Turkey's Ministry of National Education Istanbul Province Directorate, has launched a school program, turning some schools into makeshift factories to produce medical equipment. The program that is run and operated by the schools teachers themselves, has produced 2,700,000 surgical grade masks, 8000 bodysuits and 3D printed face shields and 1,890 tonnes of disinfection solution since March. Turkey continues to implement measures to halt the spread of coronavirus including a stay-at-home order for all persons over 60 and under 20 years of age, road borders of 31 cities have been closed and face masks are mandatory in public places. La Subdelegación del Gobierno ha dispuesto en diversos puntos logísticos 116.000 mascarillas que se distribuirán en los principales nodos de transporte público de la capital onubense, para aquellas personas que tengan que desplazarse en medios donde sea más complejo guardar las distancias.
El fin de semana se organizaron las rutas para su distribución y la Delegación del Gobierno en Andalucía está coordinando con las subdelegaciones del Gobierno las partidas correspondientes al territorio.
